Stakes are high, the pressure is on, time is running out and you must take a call. The battlefield is the boardroom and the warriors are corporate heads. Competition is immense, the resources are limited and the environment is of uncertainty and chaos. Only those with foresight, the ability to plan strategically and adapt quickly will survive.

Wizards of Biz, the showcase event of Intaglio, is the ultimate test of one's business wizardry. Wizards of Biz tests participants over multiple online rounds including a real time simulation of an industry. Those who clear these hurdles are further put to test in the on-campus finals involving exciting business challenges where near-faultless decision making and strategic thinking are prerequisites to survive. The final round is designed to match a high pressure boardroom battle where the participants don the hats of the top level management and take each other head on.

• 2^nd Prize : INR 25,000

The event consists of 3 rounds

Round 1

• All the registered teams will take part in this round at their convenience within the deadline
• This round will have 5 short cases across various business functions and 2 guesstimates
• Based on the absolute and relative scores, 30 teams will be selected for the second round

• This will be an online simulation round for the 30 shortlisted teams
• This round will involve a dynamic environment and all teams will play this simultaneously
• The rules and the judging parameters will be known in advance

• This round will take place during Intaglio at IIM Calcutta
• It will involve simulation of Board room decision making
• The rules and round details will be informed in due course of time.

• The event is open to students from all the B-Schools
• There should be 3 members belonging to the same institute in each team. ( All the members need to registered on the website to be able to register for the event)
• An individual can be part of only one team
• There is no limit to the number of contestants that can participate from a particular institute
• The Organizing team reserves the right to modify the terms and dates of the event
• The decision of the judges would be final and binding

• December 08 2011: Online Registration opens for Wizards of Business
• December 12, 2011: Round I starts at 9:00 PM
• December 13, 2011: Round I closes at 4:00 AM
• December 30, 2011: Round 2 starts at 11:00 PM
