Try and name the best business leader in your opinion. Now imagine a person who could surpass this business leader in all aspects in the coming few years. Finding it difficult? Make sure you meet the Olympus winners. Olympus, a name synonymous with leadership, is the biggest event across B-schools in the country and also, the toughest. A competition that challenges the limits, capabilities, and personality of the best amongst the best; an event that has become the biggest platform for potential leaders to prove their might; a forum that brings forth the best talent in the country and beyond competing for the coveted Olympian tag - Olympus.
As a flagship event of Intaglio, Olympus 12 promises to be more challenging than ever. That IIM Calcutta celebrates its Golden Jubilee along side, brings an extra zing. The elite B-schools across the Asia-Pacific along with the best of the best B-schools in India add to the glamour, elan, and aura! Every year, Olympus uses a subtle theme which coincides with Intaglio's theme and is reflected on various tasks across the 3 rounds. This year too, Olympus will base some of its events around the theme of Intaglio'12- "Tabula Rasa for the story ahead". Being a leadership hunt, Olympus strives to test its candidates on a broader dimension. Finally, it's not about who is right, it's about who is left.
The event would comprise of 3 rounds:
Based on the entries received in Round I, 3 candidates will be selected from each of the institutes in POOL A, to move on to the next rounds. From POOL B, a total of 6 participants will move on to the round 2.
The 3 selected candidates from POOL A would undergo various stages of Round II. On the basis of the cumulative score of Round II, one participant will be chosen to represent his/her institute for the on-campus finals. Similarly, the 6 candidates from POOL B would undergo same stages of Round II, and on the basis of cumulative score of Round II, 2 candidates from these 6 will make it to the Olympus finals.

Round 2: All short listed candidates for round 2 would undergo through the following stages:
Round 3: The campus representatives will come together during Intaglio where they will work both as team mates and adversaries in various events during those 3 days. While some events will simulate real life situations, others will be designed to test specific qualities. Details of the events would be shared with the finalists once they arrive on the campus. Round 3 will end with the crowning of the eventual winner of Olympus.
Participation in Olympus is open to all management students pursuing a Masters in Business Administration (full-time) or an equivalent degree at the following institutes only:

Among the eligible institutes, the event is open for both first and second year students. Please note that this event is NOT open to corporate and students from schools other than those listed above.
