Consultants have traditionally been advising companies from start-ups to the multi billion dollar ones on a multitude of business problems. Consultants get their hands on the most challenging of the business problems which the companies themselves have been unable to resolve. They are expected to device strategies or in some cases even implement them. Moreover never does the same strategy or advice work for more than one occasion. Consultants need to be shrewd and accurate in their solutions to take the client ahead of the race and at the same time survive in their business.

Traditionally, one of the most prestigious events at Intaglio, Consulting knights challenges the participants with a comprehensive case developed with our corporate partners that tests their ability to understand the crux of the problem and deliver effective and implementable solutions.

The event boasts of a rich history of winners who have gone on to make successful careers with some of the top management consulting firms of the world.

• 1^st Prize : INR 50,000
• 2^nd Prize : INR 25,000

The event would comprise of the following stages:

Round 1

• All the registered teams would be sent across a case designed by our Knowledge Partner
• Teams will be required to submit a 5 slide presentation (excluding cover slide) as their Round 1 submission
• Based on Round 1 submissions, 8 teams will be shortlisted by our Knowledge Partner for Round 2

• For this round, the finalists will be given additional information on the case and they will be allowed to make changes to the Round 1 presentation
• Additionally, in case a team needs any clarifications on the case, it will be given a half hour slot for a telephonic interaction with our knowledge partner
• All finalists will get an opportunity to get valuable feedback on their analysis from our Knowledge Partner, by presenting before them at IIM Calcutta during Intaglio

RULES AND GUIDELINES

• The event is open to students from all the B-Schools
• There should be 3 members belonging to the same institute in each team. (All the members need to registered on the website to be able to register for the event)
• An individual can be part of only one team
• There is no limit to the number of contestants that can participate from a particular institute
• All the teams need to be registered in order to receive the case study.
• The Organizing team reserves the right to modify the terms and dates of the event
• The decision of the judges would be final and binding

Only the following colleges are eligible for participation in the event.

The deadline for registration has been extended to 9 pm, 25th Dec. The case can be downloaded by registered participants at 'Downloads' tab.

The deadline for submission of first round is midnight (23:59:59 hours), 25th Dec

The results for 1st Round will be declared by 29th Dec and the details for 2nd round would be communicated to shortlisted teams.
